Swift Light Flight
Swift Light Flight is a Microlight Club and Training School based at Shobdon Airfield set in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire. Shobdon is a relaxed and friendly place to learn to fly, but is sufficiently busy with all types of aviation giving the student an appreciation of larger more procedural airfields. We specialise in Pilot Training to a very high standard complying with the Microlight Training Syllabus for National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL). Type conversions and safety courses are also offered with safety being a high priority in all Microlight training. Training is currently offered on three axis C42b and Eurostar and flexwing GT 450 aircraft.
Tiger have been providing fun, safe & reliable rotary training at Shobdon for over 20 years and we’re still loving every minute of it! We offer training from initial Private Pilot’s Licence – PPL(H) all the way through to Commercial and even Flight Instructor courses. Interested in an exciting new hobby? Or perhaps even a new & rewarding career? Trial lessons offer a fantastic first experience of Helicopter flight & can be purchased from our website or over the phone.
